Updates at Fatima:
Mass continues to look and sound slightly different than when we first reopened. Readers are now permitted to proclaim the Old and New Testaments (giving our overworked Deacons a well-deserved break!) and the cantor will sing the Ordinary of the Mass (Gloria, Holy, etc.) We ask that in accordance with Bishop Stika's guidance, the congregation not join in singing at this time. We are not quite ready for Altar Servers to return to their ministry yet.
If you are a reader and would like to return to the ministry, please sign up for any of the available weekend liturgies on Ministry Scheduler Pro. These past few months have presented quite the challenge for us, but your continued support has allowed Our Lady of Fatima to remain open and safe for all our members.
We are always in need of ushers and people willing to help with the after mass cleaning process. Contact Rob Lynch (865) 672-6976 at the parish office for help signing up for either of these essential ministries that help us continue to have in-person worship.
