We invite you to join us for Eucharistic Exposition in our chapel, located on the side of the church nearest to the Fatima Life building, at the following times:
-
Every Wednesday:
- Eucharistic Exposition follows the 8 AM mass and concludes with Benediction at 8 PM.
-
Every First Friday:
- Eucharistic Exposition follows the 8 AM mass and concludes with Benediction before the 7 PM mass.
Everyone is welcome to spend an hour with our Lord in the chapel, where He is truly present in the Eucharist.
For those who wish to spend time with Christ outside the scheduled Exposition times, Eucharistic Adoration is available to parishioners. The nave of the church can generally be accessed via a numeric keypad between 7 AM and 8 PM daily. Please contact the parish office to receive the access code.
To ensure Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament can occur, we need at least two volunteer adorers present at all times when the Eucharist is exposed.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer adorer/substitute or to help with Eucharistic Exposition, contact our volunteer team at [email protected]
What is Eucharistic Exposition:
Exposition, Adoration, and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament
In the mass and in Eucharistic Adoration we meet the merciful love of God that passes through the Heart of Jesus Christ.
St. Pope John Paul II
USCCB’s Bishops Committee on the Liturgy, published in Thirty-One Questions on Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament:
“Eucharistic Adoration is prayer before the Blessed Sacrament housed within the tabernacle. Eucharistic Exposition is the ritual by which the Blessed Sacrament is displayed outside the tabernacle in a monstrance or ciborium for public veneration by the faithful. It is a public celebration that enables the faithful to perceive more clearly the relationship between the reserved Sacrament and the ‘sacrifice of the Mass [which] is truly the origin and the purpose of the worship that is shown to the Eucharist outside Mass.’” (9)
