St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Madisonville is seeking a part-time Office Administrator to organize and perform administration duties, including general bookkeeping activities in compliance with Parish and Diocese procedures. The primary role of this position is to maintain confidential information, create a high level of organizational effectiveness and communications, and maintain a pleasant work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Office Administrator reports directly to the Pastor and is responsible for greeting parishioners and visitors; scheduling meetings and appointments; managing office activities; and providing general bookkeeping support for the Pastor. Previous experience as an Office Administrator or Administrative Assistant would be an advantage. A successful candidate will have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases) and be able to accurately handle general bookkeeping, administrative, as well as any other duties as assigned. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a major plus.
