This weekend, at all masses we will have a blessing of candles as we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, sometimes called "Candlemas".
Feel free to bring your own candle to have blessed and to take home. Ushers will have some extra available to borrow during the mass and return after.
We will begin mass in the narthex for those who wish to process in after the blessing of candles and sprinkling with holy water.
Some other items to note:
- At all weekend masses, our parish will also partake in the annual Bishop's Appeal for Ministries this weekend.
- Lastly, in honor of the Feast of St. Blaise (February 3), we will conclude mass with a blessing of throats as our recessional.
