The Laudato Si global mission for all people of good will is threefold: to pray for and with creation, to live more simply, and to advocate to protect our common home. Three verbs! This is our Week #7 Way to Care for Creation- to adopt these methods and to integrate them into our lifestyles and culture. These can be implemented into our personal lives, our schools, our church, businesses, and communities. Changing our consumerist way of life requires continuous education and sincere prayer. Pope Francis writes “In calling to mind the figure of Saint Francis of Assisi, we come to realize that a healthy relationship with creation is one dimension of overall personal conversion, which entails the recognition of our errors… and leads to heartfelt repentance and desire to change [LS 218]. OLOF Care for Creation ministry meets every other Tuesday at 3:00- all are welcome!
