Pope Francis states in his environmental encyclical, Laudato Si, that “I urgently appeal for a new dialog about how we are shaping the future of our planet” and that “all of us can cooperate as instruments of God for the care of creation according to our own culture, experience, involvements, and talents” [LS 14]. He is asking us to care enough to take personal action
through education and advocacy, and to collaborate with our brothers and sisters across the globe in this mission. One way to fulfill this is to become a Laudato Si Animator - our Week #3 Way to Care for Creation. This is a global Catholic group of like-minded people who have completed an established six-week course through attending webinars, writing reflections, and sharing their inspiration with others.
